  • IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

  • WHAT...Heavy snow. For southwest Virginia additional snow accumulations between 1 to 3 inches with locally higher totals in highest terrain. For East Tennessee Valley locations additional snow accumulations between 3 to 8 inches. For the East Tennessee mountains additional accumulations between 5 to 10 inches with locally higher amounts near 12 inches possible for highest peaks in the Smokies.
